and Response.

of India.

Management Act, 2005, providing an enabling environment for institutional
mechanisms at the State and District levels.
4. Mandates of NDMA
a. Formulate policies, plans and
guidelines for Disaster Management.
b. To mitigate the damage and destruction caused by natural and man-made disasters.
