Narendra Modi in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme in an attempt to honour the
soldiers/martyrs who gave the supreme sacrifice for the freedom of the country.

This was launched ahead of India’s 77th
Independence Day on August 15, a day in which the country should remember those
who lay down their lives for its freedom.

An 'Amrit Vatika' will be set up near the
National War Memorial in Delhi and will become a grand symbol of 'Ek Bharat
Shresth Bharat'

Amrit Kalash Yatra’ will also be organised in
which soil and saplings from all over the country will be brought to the
national capital in 7,500 pots.
5. Under this campaign, special inscriptions will also
be installed in lakhs of village panchayats of the country.
